John Clark is the Founder and Managing Partner for Pierce Financial Corporation. Since 1978, Mr. Clark has served as investment banker and financial adviser to private and public companies in the U.S. and abroad. He has provided both relationship banking and transaction banking, working as part of the client's management team to provide financial, merger and acquisition, and capital market services.

John Clark provides international services in acquisitions, joint ventures, project financing, and privatizations throughout the U.S., Latin America, Europe and the Far East. Pierce has offices in London, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires. John is fluent in Spanish.

John Clark's experience in Latin and Central America is vast. Some of the projects he has worked upon included:

  • Advised the Provincial Government of San Juan, Argentina on the privatization and sale and subsequent financing of the Caracoles hydroelectric and irrigation project, under World Bank privatization guidelines. The project was subsequently auctioned for US$275 million.
  • Advised the Provincial Government of San Luis, Argentina on the US$55 million financing of a transmission line and power sub station in the northern San Luis. Client: Province of San Luis.
  • Advised the Provincial Government of San Luis Argentina on the financing of the provincial broadband and internet project, "Autopista Informatica"
  • Advisor to Rolls Royce Power Ventures for the acquisition and financing of the Sorrento Power Plant in Santa Fe, Argentina. Client: Rolls Royce Power Ventures.
  • Advisor to the Government of Dominican Republic for the privatization of the Dominican power transmission system. Client: Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
