PROJECT MANAGER
Lyudmila Skorynina Bujoreanu joined T/TI in 2003 as a Project Manager. In this capacity she has been actively involved in all aspects of T/TI's projects that included:
- e-Government implementation in Kyrgyz Republic (2003-2004)
- Central Asian Women ICT Training Center (2003-2004)
- Interconnection Project in El Salvador (2003-2004)
- Uzbek Railway Telecom Modernization project (2003-2005)
- Management and Technical Training in Oil and Gas for Iraqi Ministry of Oil (2005-2007)
- Iraqi Network of Women ICT Training Centers (2005-2007)
- Ghana e-Government PPP project (2007-2008)
- CTT training in Iraq (2008)
Prior to joining T/TI Lyudmila worked in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in the areas of ICT policy making and e-government development as well as in sustainable development and Clean Development Mechanism.
Lyudmila's selected work experience includes being a Country Coordinator of the Global Internet Policy Initiative in Kazakhstan (2002). Her job involved analysis of the ICT related legislation, lobbying ICT favorable policies, reporting on the developments in the country and writing project proposals.
She was also one of the strategic leads for the UNDP's "Digital Development Initiative" in Uzbekistan (2001), a UN Development Program, where Lyudmila served as a Task Manager of the program's component on the creation of the enabling environment for ICT development and deployment in the country.
Lyudmila also worked as a Chief Consultant of the World Bank's project "Uzbekistan Development Gateway" following her employment at the World Bank's Headquarters in Washington, D.C. in the project of "Global Development Gateway". Her particular work included the development of the methodology for ICT development assessment in Uzbekistan and preparation of the first e-readiness study of Uzbekistan in 2000.
Lyudmila has Master's Degree in Public Affairs from Indiana University where she concentrated in Information Systems management in Public Sector and e-government development and Master's Degree in Business Administration from Tashkent State University of World Economy and Diplomacy. Lyudmila is fluent in English and Russian languages. She lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband and two daughters.
