This training provides women with a general understanding of the basics of using computers, programs, and the internet. The intention is to propogate this knowledge throughout the general population.

The center facilitates the propogation of this information this in three ways:

1. Train the Trainers (who will then train the women in the communities)
2. Provide course materials and curriculum for giving this training
3. Have a research library about Women and ICTs or Gender and ICTs that contains research reports, articles, network of women and ICTs, and an opportunity for the Center to contribute its own research findings.

Training is provided for:

• Computer Literacy: Understanding the programs available to improve office proficiency. Specifically, an introduction Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite are provided.
• Understanding the Internet: How to access it and how to use it to solve problems and increase the span of information.
• Understanding E-Applications: Students will gain a fundamental understanding of how the internet is transforming the way certain market segments do business. Specifically, they will be introduced to the following applications:
