These courses are intended for women who need to know how to operate particular equipment and/or software in connection with their current job responsibilities. These courses are aimed at a variety of telecommunications equipment women may be called upon to operate. These include but are not limited to:

  • Introduction to Windows 2000 Servers
  • Configuring Cisco Routers
  • Management activities dealing with specific telecommunications equipment used by the women's employers, such as
    • Local area network administration (focused on particular vendors' LAN cards, hubs, and switches)
    • Fiber optics terminal equipment
    • Exchange switches.
The CISCO Training Facility is located in the same building, as the CWTTI headquarters. This facility concentrates strictly on training on CISCO routers and equipment, with a goal of certifying CISCO administrators and engineers.
