The center educates women in IT technologies and telecommunications (collectively, ICT). The program covers telecommunications technologies and the telecommunications industry. The latter addresses the differences between countries so that students can understand their country's industry compared to and contrasted with the remainder of the world.

There are three levels of training and education:

EDUCATION COURSES Objective: Increase the understanding of ICT concepts and practices.
These courses are intended for professionals in the ICT field who desire to enhance their knowledge of the field. Three subject matter areas covered by the Center - IT, telecommunications technology, and telecommunications industry. Click here to see the complete list of courses offered.
TRAINING COURSES Objective: Understand specific ICT hardware and software tools
This set of courses advance women beyond basic IT literacy and teaches women to operate particular equipment and/or software in connection with their current job responsibilities. This include:
  • Introduction to Windows 2000 Servers
  • Configuring Cisco Routers
  • Management activities dealing with specific telecommunications equipment used by the women's employers, such as Local area network administration, Fiber optics terminal equipment, and exchange switches.
e-APPLICATIONS: Objective: This course work provides an overview as to how E-based applications can improve the way different market segments do business and the advantages of making them globally accessible.
ICT LITERACY Objective: Gain basic knowledge of computer software and hardware. These courses are appropriate for women who have had no prior experience with computers and the Internet. We have identified three courses in this category:
  • "Computer Literacy," which is the ability to operate a computer and run applications loaded on the computer
  • Introduction to Windows and the MS-Office Program Suite
  • Accessing and Using the Internet
